Thanks to its use of Internet and e-mail technologies, Sidercad provides applications that allow the sharing and exchange of information in real time between specialists in various companies.

All access to the applications takes place on a secure protocol (https) to ensure the confidentiality of information. User profiles are carefully set up, with privileges limited to the role that is to be performed. Execution of each relevant action is registered on the system to ensure full traceability of events.

In particular, the competencies of two work flows have been developed in the field of engineering:

• the P.O.E.M. System (Power Plant Owner Engineering Manager) is an application that allows archiving and management of power plant project document revisions. It manages the flow of work that the “Owner Engineering” group has to carry out in relation to the checking, commenting and approval (or request for revision) of project drawings and documents produced by the contractors and by suppliers in general

• the QAM (Questions & Answer Manager) system, on the other hand, is an application that allows selection of the bidders that participate in a tender. The application manages two work phases. In the first phase the suppliers request details and information for the drafting of the technical documents for the tender and receive the necessary replies and clarifications. In the second stage the bidders admitted to the tender are asked questions by the OE specilists about their technical proposals and the replies are organized and evaluated.
